Terms of Service

Effective: 2026-04-21 · Version 1.0

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or installing the Securie GitHub App / Vercel Integration, you (the "Customer") agree to these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind it.

2. Service description

Securie scans source code and deployment artifacts that you authorize, produces findings with exploit proofs where applicable, and emits suggested fixes as pull- request comments. Securie does not auto-merge. Acceptance of any suggested fix is entirely at your discretion.

3. Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the code we scan and for any decisions you make based on our findings.
  • You are responsible for the accounts and tokens you grant us; revoke via GitHub / Vercel at any time.
  • You are responsible for complying with applicable law in your jurisdiction.

4. Acceptable use

  • No scanning of systems you do not own or are not explicitly authorized to test.
  • No using Securie to aid offensive operations against third parties. Offensive scanners are scoped to sandboxed copies of your own systems only; bypassing this scope is a material breach.
  • No reverse engineering, weight-extraction, or resale of our inference endpoints.

5. Payments & refunds

Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; service continues through the paid period. We offer a 14-day no-questions refund from first charge. Overage beyond your tier's capabilities may fail-closed with warning (not silent billing).

6. Service levels

The Free and Indie tiers are offered as-is with commercially reasonable effort. Enterprise tiers have SLAs defined in the signed Order Form. Pre-deploy gating is designed to fail-closed: if Securie cannot verify a commit, the deploy is blocked until a clean scan or an authorized override is recorded.

7. Warranties & disclaimer

Securie reduces the risk of known classes of vulnerability; it does not guarantee your code is free of security defects. We explicitly disclaim fitness for a particular purpose beyond what is described in the Service.

8. Liability cap

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. Indemnity

Each party will indemnify the other for claims arising from its own gross negligence or willful misconduct. Customer will indemnify Securie for third-party claims arising from Customer's unauthorized scanning (§4).

10. Termination

Either party may terminate for material breach with 30 days' cure. On termination, we delete your repository content within 30 days and your finding attestations within the retention schedule in our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law & disputes

Delaware law; Chancery Court venue. Individual arbitration for consumer disputes (Free / Indie tiers) under AAA consumer rules; class-arbitration waiver. Enterprise tiers use the venue in their signed Order Form.

12. Changes

Material changes require 30 days' email notice to account owners. Continued use after effective date constitutes acceptance.
